When she isn’t working, Teneka serves as the assistant youth choir director and on several other committees in her church.

brings over 28 years of experience in manufacturing technology to Bamberg Job Corps Center. She is trained and certified in several types of machinery, such as the forklift. As a Material Distribution Operation instructor, Octavia loves to inspire and encourage her students to continue their education and to love learning about the manufacturing industry.

Dianna D. Bailey - Career Journey - Bamberg Job Corps Center

Dianna D. Bailey

, Work-Based Learning instructor, is quite experienced in working with students. Prior to working at Bamberg Job Corps Center, Dianna dedicated over 30 years to Bamberg School District 2. Dianna’s love for education and working with students afforded her the opportunity to hold several different positions outside of working for Bamberg Job Corps. When she isn’t working, Dianna is involved in her community, from serving on the board of a youth soccer league to being a member of the Denmark Dogwood Festival committee. 

Patricia Moss-Lingard - Office Administration - Bamberg Job Corps Center

Patricia Moss-Lingard

, a graduate of South Carolina State University, works as a Finance and Office Administration instructor. Prior to working for Bamberg Job Corps Center, Patricia worked at Orangeburg County School District for over 10 years. While working as an instructor, Patricia has received several Office 365 certifications. 

Jeremiah Hammond Jr. - Culinary Arts - Bamberg Job Corps Center

Jeremiah Hammond Jr.

began his culinary arts career in the U.S. Army in 1977. He served over 18 years in the Army before working as Culinary Arts instructor at Bamberg Job Corps Center. Jeremiah is a member of several food service councils, such as ServSafe Food Protection Management and International Food Safety Council, just to name a few.  

Javeus Boyd - Welding - Mississippi Job Corps Center

Javeus Boyd

is the Welding instructor at Mississippi Job Corps Center. As a Job Corps graduate, Javeus saw the value of the program and decided to return as an instructor, using his skills from the program and the college he attended after completion to guide students. “In my 17 years as a Career Technical instructor at the Mississippi Job Corps Center, the most rewarding part of my career has been assisting students with completing the program and finding employment that allows them to be self-sufficient.”

is the High School Diploma instructor at Mississippi Job Corps Center. Angela joined the team in 1996 after 14 years in the United States Air Force and nearly 15 years in education. She enjoys having the opportunity to inspire students to obtain an education and to nurture their desire to be successful.

is Miami Job Corps Center’s United Brotherhood of Carpenters Carpentry instructor, with nearly 20 years of experience as a union carpenter. During his career, Luis has worked on a variety of projects, earned several awards and continued his education with field certifications. He takes pride in using his career experience to educate and mentor students.

Luis Sanchez - Carpentry, Pre-Apprentice - Miami Job Corps Center

Luis Sanchez

is a more than 30-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the lead Carpentry instructor at Miami Job Corps Center. His career has allowed him to work on a number of projects, including buildings in New York City. Luis enjoys educating and inspiring students to reach their goals.
